Can I buy a ticket on the door?

Tickets are available online here. Our numbers are strictly limited to 200. We expect them to sell out in advance, but there might be a small number on the door. Keep an eye on our socials, and don’t travel to the festival unless you have a ticket.

Where can I stay?

There is free camping in our organic haymeadow adjacent to the festival site from 4pm on Friday 7th June to 4pm on Sunday 8th June. We hope that you love this flower-filled space, and that you can support us to keep it looking beautiful during and after the festival.

What is the campsite like?

There will be toilets and running water but no showers onsite.

For safety, no open fires are allowed. You may use camp stoves or small barbeques or join us at the communal fire pit we will provide.

We aim to be PLASTIC-FREE so far as possible, so we won’t be providing bins in the campsite area. Please help us to maintain this lovely site by taking all your rubbish home with you.

Where can I park?

Parking will be in the haymeadow, at a short distance from the camping area. We’ll have folks on the gate directing you where to go.

Can I bring my campervan?

A limited number of small-medium campervans (up to 5m x 2m) can be accommodated, but be aware that there is no electric hookup or waste water dump. The camper spots will be first come first serve.

To keep everyone safe on our small site, once you’re parked up in your camper van it needs to stay still until 9am on Sunday. We won’t be allowing you to drive off, move, or re-enter the site with your van.

Can I bring my dog?

We're sorry but no dogs will be allowed at the festival.

Will food be provided?

We’ve got a mouth-watering line-up of food vendors coming to the Secret Valley, from roti at lunchtime on Saturday to late-night crepes. All vendors will be providing gluten-free and vegan options. You can check out the full list here. There will be card machines but the signal is patchy so please don’t rely on card payments, bring CASH.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

If you are camping from Friday night you will need to bring your own supplies to last until the festival starts at midday on Saturday; or try out the pizza van at our local pub on Friday night.

We have some great caterers and a bar providing refreshments from midday on Saturday to 3am on Sunday, , so while you are welcome to consume your own food and drink, we ask you to support the local businesses so far as you are able.

What if it rains?

Bring wellies, waterproofs, and warm clothes. We have contingency plans, and the festival will go ahead!

If the Met Office issues any severe weather warnings, then we may have to adapt our plans - keep an eye on our socials and your inboxes.

Is there a lower age limit for the festival?

All ages are welcome. However, under-18s  must be accompanied by an adult ticket-holder. We operate a Challenge 25 policy. If you are lucky enough to look under 25, please be prepared to provide proof that you’re aged 18 or over.

How accessible is Secret Valley Fest?

Secret Valley Fest is held in a valley with sloping sides, and lots of uneven surfaces. The walkways are grass, with a few steps incorporated. If it rains, it may get muddy and access around the site may become more difficult. We don’t offer any internal transport due to the limitations of moving around this very small site. If you have limited mobility, please contact us at secretvalleyfest@gmail.com There will be a limited number of accessible camping spots near the entrance, and one accessible toilet.

Is the festival suitable for kids?

Yes, we hope that young people of all ages will enjoy the festival. But because of the sloping ground it is not suitable for buggies or festival trollies.

What does plastic-free mean?

We aim to be plastic-free as far as possible.

Our caterers will be providing food and drink in compostable cups and containers, and we ask that you dispose of these appropriately in our composting bins.

Any bottles or cans bought from the bar must be disposed of in the recycling bins provided.

If you bring any single-use plastic with you it is your responsibility to take it home for recycling.

Cash?

Our caterers and bar accept cash or cards. There is limited signal in the valley so please don’t just rely on card, please bring CASH. The nearest ATMs are in Abergavenny or Monmouth, both are a 20 minute drive away so please make sure you pick up cash in advance.

Timings

The campsite opens from 4pm Friday. Doors to the festival open from 11am on Saturday. Music runs from 12 noon until 3am Saturday.

Friday night

Our local pub is around 5 minutes walk away. They've organised a pizza van for Friday night. There will be chill vibes and an acoustic campfire jam on Friday, so everyone can get settled into the space ready to party on Saturday morning. Bring your instruments to get involved!

Sunday

We welcome any help you are able to give us on Sunday in restoring the valley back to a pristine wildlife habitat. There will be free tea and coffee for volunteers on Sunday morning.

We ask all campers to vacate the campsite by 4pm on Sunday.

What’s your safety and access policy?

Our safety and access policy is available here. By attending, you are agreeing to abide by it.
