Play Misty are a gorgeous folk / Americana trio based in Bristol and Cardiff.
Luscious, warm three-part harmonies, intertwining acoustic guitars and soaring flute – a modern take on iconic folk sounds like CSNY and Bonnie Raitt. Their debut EP, At The Cube, has been supported by BBC Introducing and Arts Council England among others.
We can’t wait for this warm hug to start our Saturday afternoon.
LEXX whips the finest cross-genre tracks into sets that sweat and reset. Their dance floor is a sexy space where gender gets bent and all beings are held in love. A space where you can dance freely to meet your struggle and release it all. This is for those of you who know there’s more to life.
You can find LEXX on the decks in the UK and beyond, in clubs, festivals, cafés, bars, and conscious dance spaces. Expect the finest house of all flavours, afrobeat and amapiano, reggaeton and latinx tracks, drum n bass, and more.
We know and love LEXX as the creator and master DJ of Bristol’s best queer night: sell-out event @soft_butch_, a night celebrating all butchness, for women, Non Binary and Trans people to dance freely together, that gathers crowds of over 400 people on the regular.
The Golden Guild are an exciting 8-piece reggae band hailing from Bristol and fronted by the talented singer, Guire. With powerful vocals, tight rhythms and heavy bass they are guaranteed to get any crowd moving. The Golden Guild style is a delicious blend of roots and modern reggae originals, with the odd cover thrown in.
Guire is an experienced multi genre artist. His ’livity’ is heavily influenced by his Rastafari faith and this is evident in the music he creates. One love.
We LOVED them last year and we’re so happy they’re coming back to the valley.
Honey B McKenna is a DJ, singer & producer from South East Wales. Her feel-good sets blend disco, house, indie dance, electro, italo, world fusion and funk.
Recent performances include Boomtown, Big Love, HowTheLightGetsIn, Hereford Pride, Abergavenny Pride, and supporting acts including Craig Charles, Gabrielle, and Feeder. Her residencies have included The Jam Factory, The Ivy Cardiff, and Hereford Indie Food Festival.
Honey’s also no stranger to radio, contributing Kitchen Disco Mixes for BBC Hereford & Worcester, and hosting “Disco Horizons” on Epic Radio, a residency on Broke FM, and many more.
We love Honey! She had an iconic Dave Grohl moment last year where she broke her toe but came to DJ for us anyway. And y’all went wild. We’re so happy to have her back.
Pistol Daisys are making waves in the alt-pop world, blending Glasgow’s vibrant grit with heartfelt authenticity to captivate audiences across Europe.
They’re on the rise, having caught the attention of manager Brendan Moon, famed for guiding artists like Paolo Nutini and The View, and signing with Morsecode. That set the stage for two UK support tours, with Callum Beattie, and Scottish heavyweights Big Country, alongside a host of festival performances.
I love their dramatic 80s-influenced alt-pop sound. It’s a modern day Blondie / Cyndie Lauper, meets The Last Dinner Party. Our family has a lot of love for Scotland, so we’re pumped to have Pistol Daisys playing for us.
Kassita is a selector who seamlessly blends electronic genres in sets infused with upbeat energy to get you stomping. Her expert track selection takes you on a journey through tech house, bass, future garage and techno, seeking to explore the different perspectives of electronic music to introduce the audience to something new.
Kassita is founder of “TUSH” (@tush_space) - an inclusive rave aimed at fostering a playful, respectful space that encourages mutual appreciation and open-mindedness within the sanctuary of good music.
As well as DJing at festivals including TRNSMT, Leeds Festival, The Cause, Parklife, and nights all round the UK, she has a residency at Subtle Radio in Hackney.
Charlie J, a South Wales-based rapper, producer, and songwriter, drawing influence from artists like Loyle Carner and Kendrick Lamar.
Known for his storytelling, he’s self-produced 40+ tracks, toured the UK, and released "We’re All Lost" in 2024.
With support from Help Musicians and BBC Horizons, Charlie’s career continues to grow. We love his sunshine-tinged hip-hop style
Incorporating House, World beats & Electronica, with a background and professional experience in Ecstatic Dance, Amada takes you on a journey across a multitude of genres on a musical odyssey to activate and elevate you
To date, Amada has played warm up and main sets at Ministry of Sound with Ecstatic Dance London, festivals such as Noisily and Buddhafield and guest DJed with various Ecstatic Dance communities across the country.
Her eclectic sound is a mix of tribal, progressive, percussive, organic, groovy, tropical music that calls you to move.
Batala Bristol is a lively and vibrant community drumming band, dedicated to sharing the uplifting sounds of Afro-Brazilian samba-reggae from the streets of Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.
You may have seen Batala Bristol performing at St Paul’s Carnival, Tambor Bristol, Bath Carnival, Bristol Half Marathon, Love Saves The Day and even Notting Hill Carnival in London, and in Wales Monmouth Carnival, Cardiff Half Marathon.
Batala Bristol is part of Batala Mundo, a global project to promote Afro-Brazilian percussion, built on an ethos of inclusion, equality and a passion for playing together. Over 1,500 drummers from all parts of the world perform the compositions of the Salvador samba reggae mestre Giba Gonçalves as part of Batala Mundo, enriching lives through the soulful beats of this authentic Brazilian culture.
The drumming, choreography and the colourful costumes make a Batala Bristol performance a truly spectacular experience to dance along to!
Coren is a cross-genre artist, curator, and DJ, known for their irresistible energy and commitment to the colour orange. 🧡
Their love for all flavours of dance shines through in sets that emphasise joy and release, bringing together groovy, deep, and euphoric sounds.
Musically they journey through funky, afro and tech house, nu-disco, and a bit of dutty bass and rave. Recent sets include @dsuperstore, @electricemporiumuk, @campcrumpet, @Pherotone.party and of course, @SecretValleyFest.
They also sing, write songs, and curate our cross-genre line-up for Secret Valley Fest.
Ella May makes the most beautiful “sad girl teenage angsty indie folk”, inspired and influenced primarily by folk artists such as Gillian Welch, Adrianne Lenker (of course), and Benjamin Tod, but also by the storytelling of post-punk artists such as Nick Cave and Bambara.
Her songs are a mix of soft vocals, fingerstyle guitar, and lyrics that feel personal and honest, capturing bittersweet moments of life. Drawing inspiration from indie, Scottish and American folk, and post-punk her music has a storytelling quality that aims to explore both vulnerability and strength, shaped also by a love of poetry.
Her songs explore the messiness of life with a quiet energy that invites listeners to pause and reflect, and she is excited to share her music and continue discovering where this journey takes her, one song at a time.
Hailing from South Wales, The Humber Collective is a group of accomplished and talented musicians that certainly bring the flavour to any evening.
A unique blend of Nu-disco mixed with a healthy amount of dance and funk. Think Jungle, Parcels, Franc Moody, Low Island - that kind of vibe. Où est la discotheque?
