Safety and access policy

By attending Secret Valley Fest, you are agreeing to this policy.

What you can expect from us

We can't control the weather, but we can promise you...

A great time

All day, all night music from an eclectic mix of DJs and live acts.

Basic facilities

Drinking water, space to pitch your tent, and toilets on site.

To be treated with respect

We want everyone to feel welcome here, and when we say be excellent to each-other, we hold ourselves to the same standards.

All ages welcome

Children under 5 come free.

What we expect from you

This policy goes two ways. By attending, you agree to..

Look after yourself

Eat, hydrate, bring suncream and pay attention to your surroundings. We're partying in a hilly field! Careful of slips, trips and falls and stay within the designated areas. Keep off of barbed wire fences and down from the trees.

Be excellent to each other

We're all about being great at respecting other peoples' boundaries and bodies, paying attention, and using your words if you're unsure. Trust us, asking is way less awkward than getting it wrong.

Things we will not tolerate

Racial slurs, sexist behaviour, transphobia, ageist, ableist or queerphobic behaviour. This includes demeaning “jokes”, catcalling, and abusive language – even if you don’t think anyone in earshot will be affected.

Look after the farm

pick up after yourself, don't light fires outside of designated areas, and be respectful of the land.

Look after your kids

Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Access

The event is in a field, there will be short grass, bumps, slopes and potential for mud. There are no paved access routes. There will be car parking available, and those with access needs will be able to park in the camping field and one adapted toilet. For everyone else, parking will be up to 500m from the action.

We are able to provide a designated viewing area close to the stage for those who need it. Support workers come free - just email us at secretvalleyfest@gmail.com

Well behaved service animals welcome. Unfortunately we can’t have any other dogs as we need to protect the wildlife.

If you have questions about access, or there is anything else we can do to make the event more accessible for you, get in touch at secretvalleyfest@gmail.com.
